Description

The AV:Link BTTR2 is a small 2-in-1 Bluetooth adaptor that adds wireless audio to almost any device with a 3.5mm or RCA connection. In transmitter mode it sends audio from a source such as a TV or projector out to Bluetooth headphones, speakers or a soundbar. In receiver mode it works the other way round, letting you pair a phone, tablet or MP3 player and play through wired headphones, an amplifier or a car audio system. One switch changes between the two, so you can move it around the house or take it with you when you travel.

Multipoint support means the BTTR2 can connect to two devices at once, which is handy if two people want to listen to the same TV through their own headphones. The wireless range is up to 10m in clear line of sight, and the built-in rechargeable battery gives up to 8 hours of playback when transmitting and up to 6 hours when receiving. A full charge takes around 2 hours. The compact 42 x 42 x 10mm body weighs just 20g, so it sits neatly behind a TV or clips easily into a bag.

In transmit mode the BTTR2 sends audio from a non-Bluetooth source, such as a TV or projector, to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. In receive mode it takes audio from a Bluetooth device like a phone and plays it through wired headphones, an amplifier or car audio. A switch on the unit changes between the two.

Can two people listen at the same time?
