Description

This AV:Link splitter lead takes a single 6.3mm (1/4") stereo jack plug and splits it into two 6.3mm stereo sockets. It lets you send one stereo signal to two separate outputs, so you can run a pair of headphones alongside another set, or feed two pieces of kit from the same source at once.

The connections are gold plated, which helps keep the signal clean and resists corrosion over time. The lead measures 0.2m, or 22cm including the plugs, with a 3.0mm cable diameter and a weight of 50g. That short length keeps things tidy on a desk or in a rack without cables trailing everywhere. It works well with amplifiers, mixing desks and general AV equipment.

One point worth noting: this cable splits a stereo signal into two outputs, it does not combine two inputs into one. If you need to merge two sources you will want a different lead. The 6.3mm jack plug is sometimes called a 1/4" jack in the US, and both refer to the same fitting. The lead arrives in a retail friendly bag, ready to use straight away.
