This AV:Link lead connects a 3.5mm stereo plug to two RCA plugs, giving you a simple way to link a personal music player, laptop or phone to line inputs on an amplifier, mixer or hi-fi. The cable measures 1.2m, which suits most desktop and shelf setups where the source sits near the equipment it feeds.

The 3.5mm end (sometimes called a mini-jack) carries a stereo signal that splits out to a pair of RCA plugs, often referred to as phono connectors in the UK. This keeps the left and right channels separate so you get proper stereo playback rather than a mono mix. Each RCA plug is colour coded in the usual red and white to make matching the correct inputs straightforward.
