Description

This AV:Link extension lead runs from a 3.5mm stereo plug to a 3.5mm stereo socket, giving you an extra 3.0 metres of reach on the majority of modern audio devices and PCs. It's a simple way to add length between your source and your headphones, speakers or another cable without moving your kit around.

The lead carries a standard 3.5mm connector at each end, so it works with the same jack you'll find on phones, laptops, tablets and portable players. The plug end goes into your device, and the socket end takes the plug from your headphones or existing cable, making it a straightforward extension rather than a replacement. In the US the 3.5mm size is often called a mini-jack, so it's the same fitting under a different name.

The cable measures 3.2mm across, with a core built from 10 strands of 0.1mm wire for the audio signal. At 3 metres it gives you enough slack to sit back from a desk or reach across a room. It arrives in a sealed bag ready to use. If you need a longer run, you can chain a second lead onto the socket end.
