Description

The Aurora is an 860mm crystal chandelier built around an 18-light chrome frame arranged in three tiers. Each tier carries six E14 candle bulbs surrounded by faceted crystal droplets and garlands that hang from curved chrome arms. The crystals catch and refract light in multiple directions, creating prismatic scatter across walls and ceilings.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and double-height living spaces with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the Aurora provides both functional overhead light and decorative presence. The 620mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal suits rooms where the chandelier can hang 700-900mm above a dining table or 2000mm+ above a hallway floor. The 18 bulbs combine to deliver high light output across a 12-18m² area, though dimmable bulbs are recommended to allow the fixture to function as ambient or task lighting depending on time of day.

The chrome metalwork is polished to a mirror finish that contrasts with the clarity of the cut crystal. Each crystal droplet is individually hung, and the largest pieces at the base are diamond-cut to maximise refraction. The three-tier structure gives the chandelier visual depth when viewed from below, with each layer creating a different plane of sparkle. At 860mm diameter, the Aurora needs a room width of at least 3m to maintain proportion — narrower spaces can feel dominated by the spread of the arms.

The IP20 rating confines the Aurora to dry indoor locations. Installation requires a ceiling rose capable of supporting the combined weight of the chrome frame and crystal, and the chain is adjustable during fitting to suit different ceiling heights. The E14 bulbs are sold separately and can be mixed between clear filament bulbs for maximum sparkle or frosted LED candles for softer diffused light.
