Description

The Aurevon is a 600mm circular chandelier built around a copper-finished metal ring set with six vertically aligned panels of natural Spanish alabaster. Six E14 lamp holders sit inside the ring, one behind each panel, lighting the stone from within. The fitting measures 280mm in height and suspends from a circular ceiling plate on slim steel cables.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, open-plan living rooms and entrance halls, the Aurevon is intended as the central light over a defined zone. The 600mm diameter suits tables and islands of roughly 1.4-2.0m in length, hung 700-800mm above the surface. The cable suspension can be shortened on installation, so the chandelier works in rooms with ceilings from 2.4m upwards. A standard UK ceiling rose sits behind the circular canopy.

Each alabaster panel is cut from a different section of stone, so veining, density and tonal variation differ from one panel to the next. When the lamps are on, the stone diffuses light through its full thickness, picking out the mineral lines along the vertical edges and casting a warm glow rather than a hard beam. The polished copper ring and panel brackets sharpen the geometry and contrast the pale stone, while stainless steel structural components keep the panels accurately spaced around the ring.

The combination of six lamps spread around a wide ring delivers more even illumination than a single central pendant, making the Aurevon useful as both decorative and ambient light over a dining or seating zone.
