Description

Across our Audacious side table range we offer three oak finishes and seven colourways, and here we have brought together warm Oak with a deep Shadow tone for a small round design that settles easily into a corner or beside a favourite chair. We love how the fluted tambour drum body gives this piece its rhythm, the vertical ribbing catching the light along its curve. Standing 59.3cm tall with a 38cm diameter, it holds its own without crowding a room, and the open shelf below adds a spot for books, a folded throw or a stack of magazines you want close to hand.

Made from solid oak, MDF and polyester as part of our Horizons S range, this side table weighs 9kg and arrives with a 30 minute assembly, guided by a video we have put together to help you along. The four round tapered legs lift the drum gently off the floor, keeping the look light despite the solidity of the build. The top will take up to 50kg when weight is spread evenly across the surface, while the lower shelf holds up to 15kg, so you can lean on it for everyday use with confidence. We have also had it certified to the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.

The Shadow colour reads as a soft, moody grey against the natural grain of the oak, and the matt finish keeps things quiet rather than glossy. To care for it, wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners that could mark the tambour detailing. We think it works beautifully in a living room paired with a low sofa, or in a bedroom as a bedside piece where the round form and open shelf earn their keep. Style it simply, with a lamp above and a couple of books tucked below.
