Description

At 140cm wide and just 40cm tall, our Dark Oak TV bench sits low and long beneath a screen, giving you a broad top surface without crowding the wall behind it. The 46cm depth is generous enough to hold a television securely along with a soundbar or a lamp, and the top takes an evenly distributed load of up to 120kg. It is designed to slot neatly under most wall-mounted sets, so the eye stays level with the screen rather than travelling up towards it. The whole piece weighs 18.75kg, which keeps it easy to position when you are settling on the right spot in a living room.

The body has a rounded shape rather than a flat front, and the two fluted tambour doors slide across on a gentle curve. That ribbed detailing catches the light and softens the long line of the bench, while the four round tapered legs lift it clear of the floor so the form reads as light despite its length. We finished it in Dark Oak, a deep warm tone that we pair here with a White Sands covering in polyester and artificial leather drawn from our Horizons S range. Behind the doors, each shelf holds up to 15kg, so DVDs, consoles and cables all have a home out of sight.

It is made from solid oak, oak veneer, MDF and steel, and it meets the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards, the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. Assembly takes around 30 minutes with the fittings we supply. Keep it indoors, wipe it with a soft dry cloth, and it will hold its colour and its clean lines for years of everyday use in your home.
