Description

Our fluted tambour sliding doors give this tv bench its quiet appeal, gliding open across a rounded body to reveal shelving behind. We chose the sliding action so you can reach your media kit without swinging doors into the room, which matters in a space where the sofa sits close. At 140cm wide and just 40cm high, it keeps a low line that sits comfortably beneath a wall-mounted screen, while the ribbed door fronts catch the light and soften the overall shape. Four round tapered legs lift the body clear of the floor, so the whole piece reads as light rather than heavy.

This bench comes in Dark Oak, using solid oak alongside oak veneer and MDF for stability, with a steel understructure supporting the legs. Everything meets the EN 16121 and EN 16122 furniture standards, the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX, so we can be clear about what goes into it. The top holds up to 120kg when weight is spread evenly across the surface, and each internal shelf takes up to 15kg, which is plenty for a console, speakers and boxes.

At 18.75kg it stays manageable during setup, and we reckon on around 30 minutes to assemble it, so you can have it in place the same afternoon. The depth of 46cm swallows cables and kit while leaving room on top for a table lamp base or a stack of books.
