Description
Made from solid oak, oak veneer and solid beech with an MDF core, our highboard is a piece we put together with quiet attention to how it will be used. The Dark Oak wood carries a deep, warm grain, and the Shadow colour across the fronts gives it a soft, muted darkness that settles into a room rather than shouting for space. The body has a rounded shape rather than a flat face, and the fluted tambour doors run in gentle vertical ridges that catch the light as you move past. It stands on four round tapered legs, so the whole piece feels lifted and light despite its height.
At 100cm tall, 120cm wide and 50cm deep, it holds a good amount without dominating a wall, and we think it works as well in a hallway as it does in a living or dining space. The flat top is a natural spot for the things you like to keep close, and it happily suits a table lamp base or a run of framed photographs. Inside, each shelf takes up to 15kg when the weight is spread evenly, while the top will carry up to 50kg on the same terms. The tambour doors slide back neatly, so you are never fighting for clearance in a tight corner. Weighing 28.9kg, it feels solid underfoot yet stays manageable for two people to position.
Assembly takes around 30 minutes, and we have kept the steps straightforward so you are not left puzzling over the instructions. This highboard is designed to earn its place for years, and we hope it does exactly that in your home.

Frequently Asked
What is the highboard made from?
It is built from solid oak and oak veneer, along with solid beech, MDF, polyester and artificial leather. The fluted tambour doors and rounded body are finished in Dark Oak with a Shadow colourway.
How much weight can the shelves hold?
Each shelf takes a maximum load of 15kg, while the top surface holds up to 50kg. These figures apply when the weight is spread evenly across the surface.
What are the dimensions?
The highboard measures 120cm wide, 100cm high and 50cm deep. It weighs 28.9kg.
Does it need assembly?
Yes, assembly takes around 30 minutes. The four round tapered legs attach to the rounded cabinet body.
How do the doors open?
The doors are fluted tambour doors that slide, rather than flat doors that swing outward. This suits the rounded, non flat-fronted shape of the body.
How should I care for the oak finish?
As the piece uses solid oak and oak veneer, wipe it with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid soaking the surface. Keep loads within the stated limits to protect the shelves and top.
