Description
This cabinet arrives as a single specification in our range. It comes in Dark Oak with a Hazelnut colour across the tambour, a warm mid brown that we find sits happily against both pale walls and darker schemes. It is a low piece with a rounded rectangular body, standing 67cm tall, 100cm wide and 50cm deep, and at 19.3kg it is manageable for one or two people to position. The fluted tambour doors slide rather than swing, wrapping the front and curving round both ends so there are no sharp corners to catch.
Those tambour doors are the part we return to most. Each slat is fluted, and because they slide sideways you never need clearance for a hinged door to open into the room. The body rests on four round tapered legs, which lifts it off the floor and keeps the whole thing feeling light despite its width. Inside, the shelf takes a maximum of 15kg when the load is spread evenly, and the top surface holds up to 50kg on the same even basis, enough for a table lamp base, a few books or a run of framed photographs. It suits a hallway, a living room wall or the space beneath a window.
It carries the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, both of which matter to us and, we hope, to you. Assembly takes around 30 minutes, so you can have it built and filled the same afternoon it reaches you.
