Description

Built from solid oak, oak veneer and MDF with a steel understructure, our tv bench brings together the materials we prefer for pieces that see daily use. The Black Oak wood carries a deep, grounded tone, while the surface wears a warm Sugar Brown that we find sits happily alongside both pale walls and darker schemes. Measuring 140cm wide and just 40cm high, it keeps a long, low profile that we like beneath a wall-mounted screen, with a 46cm depth that gives your television and its cables room to settle back.

The form is what draws us to this design. Rather than a flat front, the body is gently rounded, and the two sliding doors are finished in a fluted tambour that catches light across its ridges as you move past. Those doors glide sideways to reveal storage within, so there is no clearance needed for opening panels in a tight sitting room. Four round tapered legs lift the whole piece clear of the floor, which keeps it feeling lighter than its 18.75kg would suggest and makes cleaning underneath a simpler job. Inside, each shelf takes an evenly distributed load of up to 15kg, and the top holds up to 120kg spread across the surface, so a large screen and a soundbar are well within reach.

Assembly is straightforward, with a build time of around 30 minutes.
