Solid oak in our Black Oak finish gives this tv bench a deep, grounded look, and its Morning Meadows covering brings a soft green tone that we like against a lighter wall. The body is long and low with a gently rounded shape, sitting on four round tapered legs that lift it clear of the floor. Fluted tambour doors slide across the front, so there is no flat panel here and no doors that swing out into the room. It is built as a single specification, which means. At 140cm wide, 46cm deep and 40cm high, it holds a screen at a comfortable viewing level and leaves room on top for a table lamp base, a plant or a stack of books. Behind the tambour doors there is space for a soundbar, a console and the usual tangle of cables. Each internal shelf is rated to 15kg and the top surface to 120kg, and those figures assume the weight is spread evenly rather than piled in one spot.
