Light gathers softly across our White Sands surface, giving this sideboard a calm, glowing presence that we love in a room. At 160cm wide and just 67.1cm high, it sits long and low, and the rounded body carries the eye gently from one end to the other. The top offers a generous space for lamps, ceramics or a tray of glasses, and it is designed to hold up to 50kg when the weight is spread evenly across the surface. It is a piece that works as hard as it looks good, whether you place it in a hallway, a living room or a dining space.

The fluted tambour doors are what give this design its character. They slide rather than swing, so you never need clearance in front, and the ribbed texture catches the light in a way that flat panels simply cannot. Behind them we have fitted shelving that takes up to 15kg per shelf, keeping books, linens or tableware tidy and close to hand. The whole body rests on four round tapered legs, which lift it from the floor and keep the look light and open. This is made from solid oak, polyester, MDF and artificial leather, and it carries both the Global Recycled Standard and STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certifications, so you can trust what goes into your home.

The Black Oak framework brings a deep, grounding tone that we think sits beautifully against the paler White Sands front. To care for it, we suggest a soft dry cloth for everyday dust and a gentle wipe for any marks, avoiding harsh cleaners on the wood. Assembly takes around 20 to 25 minutes, and at 42.5kg it feels solid once in place. Style it with a single tall vase or a row of low bowls, and let the fluted doors do the rest.
