Description

Our Audacious Black Oak Cabinet in Charcoal is made from solid oak with oak veneer over an MDF core, and finished with steel, polyester and artificial leather, bringing together several materials in one considered piece. The Black Oak gives the body a deep, grounded tone, while the Charcoal upholstery detailing keeps the whole thing calm rather than heavy. We wanted a cabinet that felt substantial without dominating a space, and the low, rounded rectangular form does exactly that. It is a piece we return to when a room needs storage that reads as furniture first and function second.

The front is defined by fluted tambour sliding doors that wrap around the face and curve neatly around both ends, so there are no flat panels or hinged edges to interrupt the line. Those vertical grooves catch the light softly and add rhythm across the whole width. The body sits on four round tapered legs, lifting it clear of the floor and letting the shape breathe. Inside, we have allowed for a maximum load of 15kg per shelf, with up to 50kg supported on the top surface when weight is spread evenly across it. That top is a natural home for a table lamp base, a run of books or a few pieces of ceramic, while the sliding doors keep everything behind them tidy.

The cabinet measures 67cm high, 100cm wide and 50cm deep, and weighs 19.3kg, so it stays easy for us to position and reposition as needed.
