Description

At 43cm across and just 17.1cm deep, our medium Asteria Up Plus sits close to the ceiling and keeps a low profile in rooms where a hanging fitting would feel too much. The form is a flat circular disc mounted flush against the ceiling with a short central boss, so it reads as a clean line rather than a bulky shape overhead. In this black finish it holds its own against pale plaster or works quietly within a darker scheme, and at 3.8kg it stays manageable for a single fixing point.

This ceiling light is made from steel and PS, and has a 17W LED panel that includes an ambient top light, casting a soft wash upward as well as down into the room. You can choose your warmth at 2400K, 2700K or 3000K to match the mood you want, and the panel puts out 1200 lumen for steady everyday brightness. It is dimmable with an external dimmer, so you can drop the level for evenings without swapping any parts. We carry the CE and UKCA markings for indoor use, and it holds an IP2X rating, which makes it suited to living rooms, bedrooms, hallways and landings.

Fitting takes around 15 minutes as a surface mounted lamp, and we have kept the steps straightforward so you are not left wrestling with the ceiling for an afternoon.
