At 60cm in diameter, our Asteria Up Ceiling Light Large gives you generous coverage for a room that needs a broad, even spread of light. This large size suits open-plan spaces, wide hallways and bedrooms where a smaller fitting would feel lost, and its flat circular disc sits flush against the ceiling with a height of just 21cm. Weighing 7.17kg, it draws 37W through an LED panel that includes an ambient top light, delivering 2300 lumen at a warm 3000K colour temperature. With a CRI of 82, the light stays true and comfortable across the room.

We finished this model in black, a deep colour that reads cleanly against pale plaster and grounds a scheme against darker walls just as well. The lamp is made from steel, aluminium and PMMA, with a metal canopy that keeps the mounting neat where it meets the ceiling. It is a surface-mounted fitting, so you will not need a recess or void above it, and we have kept the assembly straightforward at around ten minutes with a video to guide you through each step.
