Description

Our Asteria Short LED Wall Light pairs a round wall plate with a short straight arm that carries a flat circular disc shade, giving you a compact profile that sits close to the wall. The disc measures 15cm across and the fitting reaches 9.6cm in height, so it holds its own without crowding a hallway, a bedside or a reading nook. A black fabric cable runs down from the wall plate to a plug, which means the fitting needs no wiring in and you can position it wherever there is a socket. The whole piece wears a black finish across its steel body, keeping the look quiet and useful.

The Asteria is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, with a 2.2m black cord included so you are ready to plug in and switch on. The built-in 12W panel gives 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, and with a CRI of 91 the light renders colour honestly across your walls and furnishings. It is dimmable too, so you can take the glow down low for the evening or bring it up when you need to read. Rated for 50000 hours, the panel is made to keep going for years, and assembly takes around 10 minutes. The light carries CE, UKCA, WEEE and IP2X markings and is intended for indoor use.

The matt black steel suits both pale and dark walls, and the small disc shade keeps the fitting understated where a larger fixture would feel heavy. Wipe it now and then with a soft dry cloth to keep the finish clean.
