Description

Our Asteria Short Wall Light pairs a round wall plate with a short straight arm that carries a flat circular disc shade, sitting parallel to the wall for a clean, low-profile look. The disc measures 15cm in diameter, and because this is the hardwired version, no cable is visible on the outside of the fitting. It projects 27.8cm from the wall and stands just 9.6cm tall, so it reads as compact and quietly modern wherever we place it.

We have finished this piece in black, giving the steel arm and plate a warm, matt tone that settles easily against painted plaster, tiled surfaces or panelled walls. Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, it feels solid in the hand and holds its shape well over time. The built-in 12W panel produces 500 lumen at a soft 2700K warm white, with a high CRI of 91 so colours in the room look true and natural. It is dimmable, letting us set the level for reading, task lighting or a gentle background glow, and the light source is rated for around 50000 hours. It carries CE, UKCA and WEEE markings along with an IP2X rating for indoor use, and we back it with a 10-year warranty.

Because this is the hardwired version, we would ask you to refer to the hardwire user guide for step-by-step instructions, and assembly takes around 10 minutes once the wiring is prepared. We like the Asteria mounted in pairs either side of a bed or mirror, where the parallel disc keeps the profile neat and the warm output stays flattering. To care for it, simply wipe the black surface with a soft, dry cloth to keep the matt finish looking its best.
