Description

Across our Asteria Plus range we stock two sizes, and this is the Mini, a pendant light we like for smaller rooms and tighter groupings. It comes in a single specification here. The form is simple, a plain flat circular disc that sits slightly larger than the slim central stem holding it, with a smooth top and a straight rim. There is nothing layered or domed about it, and we think that plainness is what lets the soft Nuance Mist colour do the talking.

The shade measures 31cm across and stands 10.5cm tall, weighing 1.7kg, which keeps it manageable on a single point. It is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and we supply it with a 2.7m black textile cord so you have room to set the drop over a kitchen island or a reading nook. The built-in 18W LED panel gives 1200 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 93 for honest, natural colour rendering. Rated for around 25000 light hours, it is dimmable with an external dimmer, and it is compatible with track lighting if you prefer to run several along a rail. Assembly takes about 10 minutes.

We hang the Mini above a dining table or a worktop, though it works just as happily in a hallway or over a bedside where its scale suits the space. It carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings, and we back it with our 10-year warranty, so you can settle it in and forget about it. If you want more reach and brightness for a wider table, our Medium sits alongside it in the same range, but for compact corners this is the one we reach for.
