Description

Compact kitchens, breakfast nooks and hallways are where our Asteria Plus Pendant Light Mini Steel Top in black really comes into its own. This pendant light suits spots that need clear, focused light without a bulky fitting overhead, and the Mini size keeps things neat at just 31cm across and 10.5cm tall. The form is a plain flat circular disc with a smooth top and a straight rim, held by a slim central stem, so the shape stays simple and easy to place above a countertop, a side table or a small dining spot.

The black finish carries through the disc and the slim stem, giving a quiet, matt look that settles into most schemes. Made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, the lamp weighs a manageable 1.7kg, and the steel top adds a subtle bit of structure to the underside of the disc. We supply it with a 2.7m black textile cord, which gives you room to set the hanging height to suit the ceiling. It is also compatible with track lighting, so you can fit it into a run of pendants if you prefer. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, and the fitting carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings.

Inside the disc sits an 18W built-in LED panel giving 1200 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 93 for accurate colour rendering across food, worktops and fabrics. Rated for 25000 light hours and dimmable with an external dimmer, it lets you drop the brightness for slower evenings. We back it with a 10-year warranty, so it is built to stay in service for the long run. To keep the black finish looking its best, wipe the disc now and then with a soft dry cloth, and we would pair it over a pale worktop or a wooden table where the shape can read clearly.
