Description

In our view, a good pendant does quiet work overhead, and this is where our Asteria Plus Pendant Light earns its place. We like it above a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading chair, where its plain flat circular disc pools soft light downward and keeps the space feeling calm. The Nuance Rose finish gives the shade a gentle, warm-toned colour that settles into a room rather than shouting over it, while the smooth top and straight rim keep the whole shape simple and low. At 43cm across and 14cm tall, this Medium size holds its own without crowding the ceiling.

The light itself is the reason we keep coming back to this one. A 28W built-in LED panel gives you 1600 lumen and a CRI of 96, so colours in the room read true and food on the table looks the way it should. It runs at a warm 3000K, rated for around 25000 hours, and works with an external dimmer if you want to soften the mood in the evening. The Black Top sits neatly at the centre where the slim stem meets the disc, and a 2.7m black textile cord drops it to the height you need. It is also compatible with track lighting, which gives you a bit more freedom in how you hang it.

The lamp is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and at 2.9kg it feels solid without being heavy to fit. Assembly takes around ten minutes, and it carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings along with our 10-year warranty. To keep it looking its best, we wipe the disc with a soft dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaners on the finish.
