Description

Made from steel, aluminium and PMMA, our Asteria Move Monochrome Portable Lamp brings together a slim, considered build in a warm Polished Brass finish. The form is pared back: a flat disc top sits on a slender stem, rising from a round base that keeps the whole thing steady. At 30.6cm tall with a 20cm diameter, it holds a compact footprint, and at just 1.1kg it lifts easily from one spot to the next. This table lamp moves with you, so it settles just as happily on a shelf as it does beside a reading chair or out on a windowsill.

Because the battery is built in, there are no trailing cables to work around. We include a USB-C cable and power adaptor in the box, and the lamp can also be charged on a Qi compatible wireless charger, though that is not included. The built-in lithium-Ion battery drives an LED panel with four light steps to suit the moment: step one gives a low 5 lumen glow that runs for up to 168 hours, step two offers 20 lumen for around 50 hours, step three reaches 50 lumen for 20 hours, and step four delivers a brighter 100 lumen for 10 hours. With a CRI of 81, the light reads clean and natural across all four settings.

Assembly takes around 5 minutes, so it is ready to use almost as soon as it arrives. The lamp carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings, giving us confidence in how it is made and tested. The Polished Brass finish sits within our wider Asteria Move range, and we like how the reflective surface catches surrounding light while the LED is off. Whether used as a soft night light or a focused pool of brightness on the tabletop, it stays quietly practical wherever we set it down.
