Description

Cosy dinner tables and quiet reading corners are where our Asteria Move Monochrome Portable Lamp really comes into its own, and we love how easily it moves between them. Standing 30.6cm tall with a 20cm diameter, it pairs a flat disc top with a slim stem that rises from a round base, keeping the shape simple and grounded. Finished in a soft Leaf green, it brings a gentle touch of colour to kitchen worktops, bedside tables and windowsills alike. Weighing just 1.1kg, it lifts and carries with one hand, so you can bring a pool of warm light wherever you happen to settle.

Being cordless is where this little lamp earns its keep, and we think the built-in lithium-ion battery makes it wonderfully practical. There are four light steps to choose from, ranging from a low 5 lumen glow up to a brighter 100 lumen, and the runtime shifts to match: around 168 hours on the lowest setting, 50 hours on step two, 20 hours on step three and 10 hours on the brightest. The LED panel is built in and gives a CRI of 81, so colours in the room stay true and comfortable. We include a USB-C cable and power adaptor in the box, and if you already own a Qi compatible wireless charger, you can top it up on that instead (charger not included).

Made from steel, aluminium and PMMA, it feels reassuringly solid for its size, and assembly takes around five minutes from unboxing to first light. It carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings. To keep the Leaf finish looking its best, we suggest a wipe with a soft, dry cloth and avoiding harsh cleaners. Group a few across a long table for a supper party, or let one stand alone as a soft nightlight beside the bed.
