Description

Made from steel, aluminium and PMMA, our Asteria Move Monochrome Portable Lamp brings together sturdy metal and a light-diffusing plastic disc in one compact form. The shape is simple: a flat disc top sits on a slim stem above a round base, and at 30.6cm tall with a 20cm diameter, it takes up very little room. In Butter Yellow, it is a soft, warm shade that we think works just as happily on a shelf as it does on a windowsill or a bedside table. Weighing only 1.1kg, it lifts and moves with one hand, so you can carry it from room to room wherever you need a pool of light.

Because there is no cable tethering it in place, this lamp offers genuine portability. It runs on a built-in lithium-Ion battery, and we supply the USB-C cable and power adaptor in the box. If you prefer, it can also be charged on any Qi compatible wireless charger, though that is not included. There are four light steps to choose from, giving you 5 lumen, 20 lumen, 50 lumen or 100 lumen from the built-in LED panel. Run time stretches from 168 hours on the gentlest setting down to 10 hours at full brightness, so the lowest step will happily see you through several evenings between charges. With a CRI of 81, colours stay natural under its glow.

Assembly takes around 5 minutes, so you will have it lit and ready in no time. It carries UKCA, CE and IP2X markings, and we would remind you that the IP2X rating means it is for indoor use only. One of eight shades across the range, we offer the Butter Yellow finish as a single specification here.
