Description

Across our Asteria range we stock a choice of core colours and shade finishes, and this is our Brass version in Nuance Mist, wired as a plug-in wall light. A round wall plate holds a long straight arm that reaches out to a flat circular disc shade, giving the piece a clean horizontal line against the wall. A black fabric cable runs down from the wall plate to a plug, so you can put it up without an electrician and simply reach the nearest socket. We think the warm tone of the brass sits nicely alongside the soft Nuance Mist shade, keeping things quiet rather than showy.

The measurements make it easy to place. It stands 9cm high with a 15cm diameter shade and a depth of 42cm as a plug-in, and it weighs just 804g, so it feels light in the hand while you position it. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, and we include a 2.2m black cord to give you room to route the cable neatly. The lamp is built from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it carries CE, UKCA and IP2X markings. Should you ever wish to convert it, please refer to the hardwire user guide, and note that the hardwired depth comes out slightly longer at 44.6cm.

For light, we have fitted a 12W built-in LED panel that gives 500 lumen at a warm 2700K, with a CRI of 91 for honest colour on the wall and whatever sits beneath it. The lamp is dimmable, so you can bring it down low for the evening or turn it up when you need more from it, and the panel is rated for 50000 hours or more. We back it with our 10-year warranty.
