Description

In our view, good light shapes a room before anything else does, and this is a pendant light that fills a space with a warm, even glow while keeping its own profile calm and quiet. The Asteria in Nuance Rose brings a soft blush of colour overhead, a gentle tone that sits easily above a dining table, a kitchen island or a reading nook without pulling focus from everything else in the room. The form is deliberately plain: a flat circular disc with a smooth unbroken top and a straight shallow rim, held on a slim central stem, with a single flat diffuser underneath that spreads the light softly downward.

This is the Mini size, measuring 31cm in diameter and just 3.3cm in height, so it stays close and unfussy overhead while weighing only 1.6kg. It is made from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.7m black textile cord and a matching metal canopy. The Black Top gives the disc a clean, matt finish above, while the acrylic diffuser below carries the light. Assembly takes around 10 minutes, and one of our favourite touches is that you can give the piece a fresh look later simply by swapping the metal cover, so it grows with your home rather than staying fixed.

The built-in 14W LED panel gives 900 lumen at a warm 3000K, with a CRI of 83 and a rated life of 25000 hours, and it works with an external dimmer when you want to soften things further.
