Description

Across our Asteria range we stock several colours, and this is the Petrol Blue pendant light with a Steel Top in the Medium size. We like it for the way it keeps things simple: a plain flat circular disc with a smooth unbroken top, a straight shallow rim, and a single flat diffuser underneath that spreads the light evenly. It hangs from a slim central stem on a 2.7m black textile cord, with a matching metal canopy at the ceiling. Measuring 43cm in diameter and just 4cm in height, it reads as a neat horizontal shape rather than a bulky one, and at 2.5kg it stays light on its cord.

The build combines steel, aluminium and acrylic, with the deep Petrol Blue finish sitting above the Steel Top cover. Inside sits a 16W LED panel giving 1300 lumen at 3000K, a warm white tone with a CRI of 83 for honest, comfortable colour. The panel is built in and rated for 25000 hours, so it settles in for the long run, and it works with an external dimmer if we want to soften the level for evenings.
