At 43cm across, our Asteria LED Pendant Light in the Medium size gives a broad, even circle of light without taking up much vertical space. The disc stands just 4cm tall and weighs 2.5kg, so it hangs neatly above a dining table, a kitchen island or a hallway where we want the fitting to feel light overhead. The plain flat disc has a smooth unbroken top, a straight shallow rim and a single flat diffuser underneath, held on a slim central stem. There is nothing fussy about the shape, and we like how quietly it reads in a room.

This one comes in Nuance Mist with a Black Top, a soft muted tone paired with a dark metal cover across the upper face. The disc is built from steel, aluminium and acrylic, and it arrives with a 2.7m black textile cord and a matching metal canopy for the ceiling. The built-in 16W LED panel gives 1300 lumen at 3000K, a warm white with a CRI of 83 that suits everyday living and dining spaces. Rated for around 25000 hours, it is made to run for years, and it works with an external dimmer when we want to bring the level down for the evening.

Assembly takes about ten minutes, so the pendant is up and lit quickly, and it carries CE and UKCA marking for indoor use along with IP2X and cETLus ratings. We back it with a 10-year warranty.
