The Aster is a 28cm wall light built around a circular glass disc with radiating linear cuts that fan outward from a central gold-finished metal mount. The disc sits on a gold metal backplate and conceals a single E14 bulb behind the glass, which refracts and multiplies the light across the cut surface. The result is a pattern of light and shadow that shifts depending on viewing angle and the bulb temperature chosen.

Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where accent lighting is needed without the bulk of a sconce, the Aster provides ambient rather than task light. The 28cm diameter suits wall spaces 60cm wide or more, such as the run of wall beside a staircase, either side of a bed headboard, or flanking a mirror or artwork. The IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations away from bathrooms and wet zones.
