Description

The Ashstead Zigzag is a cordless, rechargeable table lamp topped with a handmade 16cm Zigzag clip-on shade in digitally printed faux silk. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, so there is no flex to trail across a table. A 1.5W integrated LED gives a warm white 2700K light, and a three-stage touch dimmer steps through 40, 80 and 155 lumens. At 395mm tall with a 160mm shade and just 0.6kg, it is easy to lift and reposition.

Portability is what makes it so useful. Use it beside the bed, then move it to a shelf, a hallway or a dining table as you please, or set it out for a relaxed evening without needing a socket close by. The touch control makes it quick to lower the light for winding down or raise it for reading. It is well suited to rented rooms, compact spaces and any spot where a fixed lamp would be awkward, and the zigzag print adds a lively graphic touch.

The metalwork carries a brushed aged brass plated finish, while the shade is gathered and pleated by hand with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining. It charges in around 5.5 hours from the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable and then gives up to 36 hours of light, with the 3.7V battery included. Rated IP20, it is intended for dry indoor use. Wipe the base with a dry cloth and dust the shade with a soft brush. The Zigzag shade appears in Cotswold green and apricot orange across the range.

No. The warm white LED is integrated, so there is nothing to fit or replace during normal use.

With the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable. A full charge takes about 5.5 hours and gives up to 36 hours of light.

Yes. A touch control cycles through three levels, around 40, 80 and 155 lumens, in a warm white tone.
