Description

This portable floor lamp runs on a built in rechargeable battery, so it needs no power cable and can be placed anywhere you fancy a little extra light. It stands 1400mm tall on a slim brushed aged brass stem and is topped with a 25cm Zigzag shade, a handmade gathered pleat in digitally printed faux silk with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining. A 1.5W integrated LED gives a warm white 2700K glow, and a 3 stage touch dimmer steps through 40, 80 and 155 lumens for low, medium and bright light.

Cordless freedom lets this lamp stand where mains lighting cannot easily go, from a snug reading corner to a bedside, a bathroom or a covered outdoor seat on a calm evening. A tap on the touch dimmer sets the level, whether you want a soft glow late at night or a brighter light to read by. The 25cm Zigzag shade comes in Cotswold green or apricot orange, offering a fresh or warm pop of colour. With its aged brass stem and printed shade, the Ashstead keeps things relaxed and classic.

Charging is handled by the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable, with a full charge taking around 5.5 hours and giving up to 36 hours of light. The rechargeable 3.7V battery is built in and included, so there is nothing else to buy. Wipe the brass base with a soft dry cloth and keep the fabric shade free of dust with a gentle brush.
