Description

This portable floor lamp is powered by a built in rechargeable battery, freeing it from any need for a wall socket so it can stand wherever suits. It stands 1400mm tall on a slim brushed aged brass stem, topped with a 25cm Ripple shade in a handmade gathered pleat of digitally printed faux linen, finished with taped edge detailing and a plain inner lining. A 1.5W integrated LED gives a warm white 2700K glow, and a 3 stage touch dimmer steps through 40, 80 and 155 lumens for low, medium and bright light as you need it.

Being cordless, the lamp settles happily in spots a mains light struggles to reach, such as a reading chair, a bedside, a bathroom shelf or a sheltered outdoor table on a still night. The touch dimmer puts the brightness in your hands, from a quiet night light to a fuller reading glow. The 25cm Ripple shade is available in marlin blue or coral pink, letting you choose a cool or warm accent to lift a room. On its aged brass stem, the Ashstead keeps a soft, classic look.

Charging is handled by the supplied USB-C to USB-A cable, with a full charge taking around 5.5 hours and giving up to 36 hours of light. The rechargeable 3.7V battery is built in and included, so there is nothing else to buy. Wipe the brass base with a soft dry cloth and keep the fabric shade free of dust with a gentle brush. Because it is cordless, the Ashstead moves easily from room to room, or outdoors under cover on a still evening, wherever you want a little extra light.
