Description

The Arvello is a 490mm table lamp built around a solid white marble column with a softly domed top, paired with a 300mm linen-style drum shade in a natural cream tone. A bronzed metal collar joins the base and shade, and a small bronzed thumb-screw at the foot of the column secures the cable exit. A single E27 lamp socket sits within the upper fitting, hidden from view by the shade.

Designed for bedside tables, console tables, sideboards and low shelving in living rooms and bedrooms, the lamp suits surfaces from around 400mm wide upwards. The compact 300mm shade diameter keeps the footprint tight on narrow bedside tables, while the 490mm overall height places the light source roughly at seated eye level next to a sofa or at a comfortable reading height beside a bed.

The base is cut from a single piece of white marble with grey veining that varies between individual lamps, so no two columns look identical when lit. The marble is heavy enough to anchor the lamp without a separate weight, and the cylindrical profile with its rounded crown reads as a single carved object rather than an assembly. The Arvello has a single E27 (Edison screw) lamp socket. Any standard E27 LED, halogen or filament bulb can be fitted, sold separately. A warm-white LED between 6-9W and 2700K-3000K suits bedside and living room ambient use.

Is the marble veining the same on every lamp?

No. Each base is cut from natural white marble, so the grey veining, intensity and direction differ between individual lamps. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means each piece is visually unique.

Is it dimmable?

The lamp itself does not include a dimmer. Dimming depends on the bulb fitted and any in-line or wall dimmer used with it. Pair a dimmable E27 LED bulb with a compatible dimmer to control brightness.

Will it suit a narrow bedside table?
