Description

The Artisan is a 12W LED magnetic track spotlight with a cylindrical matte gold body on a black magnetic adapter, designed for Maytoni's Exility track system. The spotlight rotates 355° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically on its mounting point, allowing precise directional control for accent lighting, wall washing or feature highlighting. A recessed LED module with a HoneyComb-D38 anti-glare filter sits inside the cylinder, delivering 4000K neutral white light without visible glare.

Designed for retail, gallery, hospitality and residential track installations, the Artisan mounts to the Exility magnetic track via a low-voltage DC 48V connection — no additional wiring needed once the track is powered. The magnetic adapter clicks onto the track and can be repositioned along its length without tools, making the spotlight easy to add, remove or relocate as display layouts or room functions change. The 4000K colour temperature suits task lighting, product displays and spaces where colour accuracy matters.

The matte gold finish on the aluminium cylinder contrasts with the black magnetic adapter and track, giving the fitting a two-tone presence that reads well in industrial, contemporary and classical interiors. The textured knurled surface on the gold cylinder provides grip for manual adjustment and adds visual detail when the spotlight is viewed from below. At 5.2cm diameter and 12.5cm length, the spotlight has enough presence to act as a design feature without dominating lower ceilings.

The IP20 rating limits the Artisan to indoor dry locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor canopies or any environment with moisture ingress. No. The Artisan is designed exclusively for the Maytoni Exility magnetic track system and operates on DC 48V supplied through the track. It will not fit standard mains-voltage track systems or other manufacturers' magnetic tracks without compatibility confirmation.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

The LED module is integrated and non-replaceable. The 12W LED is rated for extended operational life typical of commercial LED systems, and the fitting carries a 5-year warranty from Maytoni.
