Description

The Argento is a 305mm spherical chandelier built around a hand-blown bubble glass orb that encases three candle-style E14 fittings on an oxidized silver leaf metal frame. The glass shell shows texture variation from the blowing process, catching and refracting light across its surface when the bulbs are lit. The oxidized silver leaf finish on the canopy, chain and internal chandelier frame has a deliberately aged patina rather than polished brightness.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Argento suits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where the fitting can hang free. The 1524mm chain allows adjustment between a 643mm minimum drop (for lower ceilings or positions where the chandelier needs to sit closer to a worktop) and a 2168mm maximum drop (for double-height stairwells or vaulted ceilings). The three E14 candle bulbs provide ambient light through the bubble glass rather than concentrated downlight.

The spherical glass orb has a 305mm diameter, making the fitting substantial enough to anchor a 1.8-2.4m dining table or a medium kitchen island without overwhelming smaller rooms. Is the glass orb removable for cleaning?

Hand-blown bubble glass should be cleaned in place using a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth is acceptable but avoid soaking the seams where the glass meets the metal fittings. Do not attempt to remove the orb — it is part of the structural assembly.

What ceiling height is needed for the maximum drop?
