Description

The Arcus is a 2m white aluminium profile cover for recessed LED strip installations in ceilings, walls and cabinetry. The cover clips into a corresponding recessed channel (sold separately), concealing the LED strip behind a flush white face that projects 25mm from the mounting surface once installed.

Designed for continuous LED strip runs across ceiling coves, under-cabinet task lighting and wall recesses where the light source should remain hidden, the Arcus creates a clean linear slot with indirect light washing up, down or across the adjacent surface. The aluminium construction acts as a heat sink, drawing warmth away from the LED strip to extend its operational life and maintain consistent output over time.

The white finish integrates with white ceilings and cabinet interiors without creating a visual break. Multiple 2m sections can be aligned end-to-end for longer runs, with joins masked by the diffuser if one is fitted over the cover. The 25mm projection keeps the cover face below typical plasterboard depths, allowing the profile to be recessed into a cut channel and skimmed over at ceiling level.

The Arcus cover is part of the Ideal Lux profile system. It pairs with the corresponding Arcus recessed channel, which accepts LED strips typically between 8-12mm wide. Check the recessed channel specification to confirm compatibility with your chosen LED strip.

Can multiple sections be joined?

Yes. Multiple 2m covers can be aligned end-to-end for continuous runs. The join between sections will be visible as a hairline gap unless a diffuser is fitted over the top, which softens the transition.
