Description
The Arcus corner LED profile is a two-metre length of white aluminium channel, 10mm by 10mm in section, shaped to sit in an internal corner and hold an LED strip at an angle. It is the housing only: the LED strip, the driver and the end caps are all sold separately, so you add a strip and a driver to turn it into a working light. It weighs 0.16KG. No IP rating is given for the profile itself, and the maker lists it for an LED strip rated IP20, so we keep it to dry rooms indoors.
Because it fills the corner rather than lying flat, the profile suits the places indoors where two surfaces meet: the join between a shelf and the wall behind it, the inside corner of a display cabinet or an alcove, or the line where a wall meets the ceiling. Tucked into the angle, the strip faces out from the corner, so the light runs along the join and into the space in front of it. At 10mm each way it stays discreet, a slim white line that sits quietly against white paintwork and gives a clean, finished look to a shelf or a cabinet.
Aluminium is light and does not rust, and here it comes in a white finish. The channel takes an LED strip up to 5mm wide and rated up to 8W per metre, so check both figures on your strip before you buy: a wider or more powerful strip falls outside what the maker lists. The maker pairs the profile with a remote driver, one sited away from the profile itself. Plan your runs around the two-metre length, and remember the end caps are not in the box. Where a mains driver is part of the job, a qualified electrician installs it.

Frequently Asked
Is the LED strip included with this corner profile?
No. The profile is the housing only: the LED strip, the driver and the end caps are all sold separately, so you add a strip and a driver to make it light.
What LED strip does the profile take?
It takes an LED strip up to 5mm wide and rated up to 8W per metre, and the maker lists a strip rated IP20 for it.
Where does the corner profile go?
It mounts on the surface in an internal corner indoors, such as where a shelf meets a wall or inside a display cabinet, and we keep it to dry rooms.
How long is the profile and what size is it?
It is two metres long and 10mm by 10mm in section, and it weighs 0.16KG, so it stays a slim line tucked into the corner.
What finish does the profile have?
It is white aluminium, which keeps it discreet against white walls, white shelves and the pale interiors of display cabinets.
Does it need a driver?
Yes. The maker pairs this profile with a remote driver, sold separately, which sits away from the profile rather than inside it.
