Description

The Arco is a 119x80cm arched leaner mirror built with a soft grey-painted wooden frame and a rounded arch top reminiscent of Georgian or French door fittings. The frame is divided into 16 rectangular panes by raised mouldings on the glass surface, creating a window-effect grid pattern without fragmenting the reflected image. The 4cm frame depth gives the mirror enough weight to lean against a wall without needing fixings.

Designed for bedrooms, dressing rooms and hallways with space for a full-length mirror, the Arco sits comfortably in both traditional and soft contemporary interiors. The 119cm height provides a full reflection from head to toe when leaned at a slight backward angle, typical of floor mirrors without wall brackets. The 10kg weight means it stays in position on carpeted or hard floors without needing to be anchored, though it can be wall-mounted using D-rings if preferred for households with young children.

The grey finish on the wooden frame has a flat, chalky quality rather than a gloss, which softens reflections from the frame itself and pairs well with neutral palettes, whitewashed or oak furniture, and rooms with grey, taupe or soft blue tones. The raised window-pane mouldings on the glass run in both vertical and horizontal divisions, with the arched top section maintaining the grid pattern through the curve. The glass is a standard float mirror without bevelling, giving a flat, uninterrupted reflection.

Frequently Asked

Can the Arco be wall-mounted or does it only lean?

The Arco is designed as a leaner mirror and comes with the necessary weight and angle to lean safely against a wall. It can also be wall-mounted using D-rings or brackets if you prefer a fixed installation, particularly in households with young children or pets.

Does the window-pane grid affect the reflection?

No. The raised mouldings that create the 16-pane grid pattern are applied to the surface of a single continuous pane of mirror glass. They visually divide the mirror into sections but do not fragment or interrupt the reflection itself.

What room height is needed?

At 119cm tall, the Arco fits comfortably in rooms with standard 2.4m ceiling heights. When leaned at the typical backward angle, the top of the mirror will sit approximately 100-110cm from the wall, depending on how steeply it is angled.

How is the grey finish applied?

The grey finish is a painted coating on the wooden frame, with a flat, chalky appearance rather than a gloss or semi-gloss. This finish may show light scuffs or marks over time, particularly on the lower corners if moved frequently.
