Description
The Arcella is a 450mm sculpted arch table lamp carved from solid Spanish alabaster, formed as a single continuous archway with a 100mm circular section running from one foot, up and over, and back down to the other. An integrated LED concealed within the body produces a warm 3000K soft white glow that travels through the translucent stone, lighting the arch from inside rather than projecting outward.
Designed for consoles, sideboards, bedside tables and shelving where a low, wide profile works better than a tall column lamp, Arcella sits at 450mm tall by 450mm wide. The 230V integrated LED removes the need for a visible bulb or socket, leaving the stone form uninterrupted on every face. It suits bedrooms, living rooms and reading corners where the function is ambient atmosphere rather than directed task light.
Each Arcella is cut from a natural block of Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloudy patches and tonal variation across the arch differ between individual pieces. Lit from within, those internal mineral patterns become visible as soft shadows and warmer translucent zones across the surface. The two feet rest flat without additional fixings, and the stone construction gives the lamp enough mass to sit securely on open shelving and console edges.

Frequently Asked
Does the Arcella come with a bulb?
No bulb is needed. The lamp uses an integrated LED concealed within the alabaster body, running on 230V mains. The LED is not user-replaceable.
Is it dimmable?
The integrated LED runs on standard 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model used, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.
Does the alabaster look the same on every lamp?
No. Each Arcella is cut from a natural block of Spanish alabaster, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and the differences become more visible when the lamp is lit.
How is alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks use a barely-damp cloth with distilled water, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
