The Arcadia is a vintage wool rug in a Grey / Gold colourway, woven with a woodland scene. Tall trees and feathery foliage frame a pale clearing at the centre, with flowering plants and grasses gathered at their feet, and a border of trailing flowers and leaves runs all the way round. Soft grey, warm gold, beige and cream shade gently into one another, so the whole rug reads like an old tapestry laid on the floor. It is machine woven from 100% wool as a flat weave, so it lies smooth and close rather than deep and shaggy.
