Description

The Antic is a single-light wall fitting with a vertically ribbed white glass cylinder suspended from a curved gold metal arm that extends from a semi-circular wall plate. The arm arcs upward and then curves down, holding the glass shade at approximately 400mm projection from the wall. The fitting takes a single E14 bulb rated up to 40W, housed inside the glass cylinder which diffuses light through its ribbed surface.

Designed for residential hallways, bedrooms, living rooms and dining areas with sufficient wall width to accommodate the 23.5cm horizontal reach of the arm, the Antic provides both ambient and decorative light. The ribbed glass texture breaks up the light source into soft vertical bands, reducing glare from the bulb while casting gentle downward wash light suitable for reading in bed or illuminating a hallway. The gold finish on the metal frame reads as warm brass under incandescent light and pairs with both traditional and mid-century modern interiors.

The Antic measures 53.5cm in total height from the top of the wall plate to the base of the glass shade, with the shade itself measuring 10cm in diameter. The glass cylinder is top-hung from a brass sphere at the curve of the arm, allowing the shade to hang vertically regardless of wall angle. The metal construction is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only.
