Description

The Antic is a 2 light wall fitting with two vertically-stacked grey ribbed glass cylinders mounted on a brushed gold metal frame. Each cylinder houses a single E14 bulb (sold separately), and the ribbed glass diffuses the light outward while creating vertical banding patterns on nearby walls. A spherical gold connector joins the two glass cylinders and anchors the fitting to a circular wall plate.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Antic works as accent lighting on feature walls, flanking a mirror or artwork, or paired in symmetrical installations either side of a bed or sofa. The 435mm vertical projection suits walls where the fitting needs presence without extending too far into the room. The IP20 rating limits use to dry interior spaces only.

The ribbed glass cylinders measure 10cm diameter each and create a dual-zone lighting effect when both bulbs are on, with the upper and lower glass elements functioning as independent light sources. The brushed gold finish on the metal frame has a warm, slightly muted tone that pairs with brass hardware, warm wood tones and neutral colour schemes. The Antic takes two E14 small Edison screw bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K to complement the gold and grey finish.

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is designed for dry interior spaces only and is not protected against moisture. It cannot be used in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any damp environment.
