Description

The Ancona is a small, round outdoor wall light made of brass and glass. A domed hood, shaped like a half-closed eyelid, curves over a single slot, so the light falls down and out across the ground rather than up into the night. At 8.7cm across and 4.8cm deep it is compact enough to sit neatly on a low wall or beside a step without drawing the eye in daylight. We offer it in three finishes, Antique Brass, Natural Brass and Raw Brass, so you can match it to door furniture, a tap or other metalwork outside.

Rated IP65, it is made for outdoor use, and that opens up the whole garden. Fit a row along a low garden wall to mark out a terrace or patio, set one beside each run of steps to light the treads after dark, or use a pair to light a path to the door. Because the hood keeps the light low, it suits outdoor dining and kitchen areas, where you want to see the table and the ground around it without lights shining at eye level. The Ancona is built in brass and glass, and it is a Class II fitting, which means it is double insulated.
