Description

The Amulet is an LED pendant light built around an oval gold-finished metal frame that holds eight ribbed glass spheres — four on each vertical arm. Each sphere is spaced by a gold metal collar and internally lit by an integrated 16W 3000K LED that diffuses warm light through the ribbed glass. The frame is suspended from a cylindrical gold canopy on a height-adjustable cable.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls, the Amulet suits rooms with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 4m. The minimum drop of 76cm works in standard residential spaces, while the maximum 356cm drop accommodates double-height hallways and vaulted ceilings. The narrow 9cm width means the pendant can be positioned close to walls or in narrower corridors without obstructing movement. The ribbed pattern on each glass sphere creates vertical light striations across walls and ceilings when the fitting is lit.

The gold finish is applied to the metal frame, canopy and collar pieces — it reads as a warm metallic tone rather than mirror-polished. The oval frame measures 27.8cm at its longest axis and 9cm wide, giving the pendant a vertical emphasis rather than spreading laterally. The IP20 rating limits installation to indoor dry locations. The LED is integrated into the fitting and cannot be replaced as a separate component. Maytoni provides a 3-year warranty covering LED failure, during which the entire fitting would be replaced under warranty terms.

What ceiling height is needed?

The adjustable drop ranges from 76cm minimum to 356cm maximum. For a dining table or kitchen island, the pendant typically hangs 70-80cm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Higher ceilings can use the full cable length for double-height spaces.

Where can it be installed?

The IP20 rating limits the Amulet to indoor dry locations — living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens away from sinks or steam sources. It cannot be installed in bathrooms or outdoors.
