Description

This crochet tulip flower bundle gives mum three soft tulips that never need a vase or water. There is one lilac bloom, one pink and one cream, each on a green crochet stem with its own leaves, gathered together on a tall rectangular pink card patterned with paler pink flowers. Across the lower half of the card, gold lettering reads "amazing MUM ...if mums were flowers, I'd pick you." The whole piece is 34cm tall, 11cm wide and 4.5cm deep, so it sits comfortably beside a card at the breakfast table and slips easily into a gift bag.

We think of it first as a Mother's Day gift, the sort of thing mum keeps long after the day itself. Real tulips last a week or so, but these never droop, so they can stay on a bedside table, a kitchen shelf, a dressing table or her desk at work for as long as she likes. On the back of the card, a white panel marked to and from has ruled lines for your own words, so the card doubles as the message and there is nothing else to remember.
