Amarilli 3 Light Chandelier - Black with Silver Patina

The Amarilli is a 650mm diameter chandelier with three E14 candle fittings, built around a black wrought-iron frame with hand-forged scrolls and antiqued oak leaf decoration finished in silver patina. Each of the three arms curves outward from a central column topped with stylised oak leaves, with clear glass droplets hanging from the scroll ends and cut glass sconces surrounding each bulb holder.

Designed for dining rooms, entrance halls and living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the chandelier can be suspended on its 640mm chain for a total minimum drop of 700mm or extended to 1150mm maximum. The chain can also be removed entirely to convert the fitting into a flush or semi-flush ceiling light for rooms with lower ceilings, making it adaptable to different interior configurations. The three E14 fittings accept candle-style bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately).

The black base finish provides contrast against the silver-patinated scrollwork and oak leaves, which are hand-forged and individually antiqued during manufacture. The clear glass drops catch and refract light from the bulbs, casting reflections onto walls and ceilings when the chandelier is lit. At 650mm width the fitting suits rooms with floor areas of 12-20m² without dominating the space, and the wrought-iron construction gives the chandelier a weight and presence that reads as solid metalwork rather than hollow tubing.

What bulbs does it take?

The Amarilli takes three E14 small Edison screw (SES) candle bulbs, up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W LED candle bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) to match the traditional styling.

Can it be fitted to a low ceiling?

Yes. The chandelier can be converted from pendant to flush or semi-flush fitting by removing the chain, making it suitable for ceilings as low as 2.2m. The minimum drop as a pendant is 700mm, so rooms with 2.4m+ ceilings are recommended for suspended installation.

Is the silver patina applied by hand?

Yes. Each Amarilli chandelier is hand-forged and the silver patina is individually applied and antiqued during manufacture by Elstead. This means there will be slight tonal variation between individual pieces, which is a characteristic of the hand-finishing process.

What ceiling rose size is needed?

The chandelier fits a standard UK ceiling rose (typically 80-100mm diameter). The canopy that covers the ceiling rose is approximately 120mm diameter and conceals the chain attachment point and cable entry.
