Description

The Knightsbridge 2m aluminium LED profile is a corner-mounted housing for LED strip lighting, designed to create an angled 45-degree light output from under-cabinet, shelf edge or worktop installations. The 16mm square angled aluminium extrusion accepts LED strip up to 10mm wide and comes with a 2m opal polycarbonate diffuser that clips into the profile channel to soften the LED point sources into a continuous line of light.

Designed for under-cabinet task lighting in kitchens, workshop benches, display shelving and retail counter edges, the corner profile mounts flush to the junction between a horizontal and vertical surface using the included mounting clips. The 45-degree angle directs light downward and outward, reducing glare for users working directly beneath the fitting while providing enough spread to illuminate worktops or displayed objects. The matt silver anodised finish blends with aluminium cabinet frames and stainless steel appliances.

The profile measures 16mm wide by 16mm projection from the mounting surface, creating a low-profile fitting that does not intrude into headroom beneath cabinets or shelving. Four mounting clips are included with the 2m length, spacing approximately 500mm apart for secure fixing to wood, MDF or plasterboard surfaces. Two end caps seal the profile ends and conceal the LED strip termination. The opal diffuser reduces LED hotspots and provides IP20-rated protection for the strip inside, suitable for dry interior locations.

What width LED strip does this profile accept?

The channel fits LED strip up to 10mm wide. Standard 8mm and 10mm LED flex fits comfortably, while 12mm strip will not fit inside the profile.

Is the LED strip included?

No. This is the aluminium profile housing only. LED strip, power supply and connectors are sold separately and must be specified to match the application.

How is the diffuser attached?

The opal polycarbonate diffuser clips into the open channel of the aluminium extrusion and can be removed for LED strip installation or replacement without tools.

Can additional mounting clips be purchased?

Yes. Extra mounting clips and end caps are available separately under part number 1MCORCAP if longer runs need intermediate support or replacement caps are needed.
