Description

The Alton is a 388mm LED picture light with a white-painted metal body housing an integrated 6.6W 3000K LED strip. A curved support arm extends 211mm from the wall-mounted circular backplate, allowing the cylindrical light bar to angle towards the artwork below. The white finish blends into white or light-toned walls, keeping the light visible only when switched on.

Designed for smaller framed art, mirrors, photographs and prints up to 600mm wide, the Alton mounts directly above the piece and casts downward illumination without creating glare spots or uneven hotspots on the surface. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light that suits oil paintings, watercolours, sepia-tone photography and gold-framed pieces. The adjustable arm pivots on a central hinge, allowing the angle to be set during installation to match the frame depth and wall projection.

The integrated LED strip removes the need for bulb replacement and draws 6.6W on 230V mains, equivalent to approximately 50-60W of halogen output in a traditional picture light. The white powder-coated finish on the metal housing remains neutral against most wall colours and does not yellow or discolour over time. At 388mm width, the Alton sits comfortably above A3-sized frames (297 x 420mm) and smaller, without extending beyond the edges of the artwork.
