Description

The Alton is a 388mm picture light with an integrated LED housed in a brushed brass tubular arm, mounted on a circular brass backplate. The arm pivots on a hinged joint, allowing the light to be angled directly onto a frame, mirror or artwork surface. The LED sits inside the brass tube and casts focused light forward through a narrow aperture at the tube's end.

Designed for artwork, framed photographs, mirrors and decorative wall features where directed illumination is needed without spill light onto surrounding walls, the Alton suits living rooms, hallways, home offices and gallery-style spaces. The 211mm projection from the wall allows the light to clear the frame and direct light downwards onto the artwork surface at an angle, reducing glare and reflections on glazed prints. The compact 388mm width suits frames and mirrors between 400-800mm wide.

The brushed brass finish provides a warm metallic accent that pairs with both traditional gilt frames and contemporary framing styles. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement and provides consistent colour rendering across the artwork's surface. The circular backplate mounts directly to a standard wall fixing and conceals the cable entry point.
